About our technology and security
What makes Triplesfer secure and different from other file sharing services?
What we do better than anyone else
End-to-end encryption
Your files are encrypted before upload and can only be decrypted after download. Noone else can access them, not even us.

Data residency in EU
Your data never leaves European Union. Stored in sovereign infrastructures for total peace of mind. We are not subject to US laws like the CLOUD Act.

Private key management
Encryption keys are under your control, ensuring zero external access to client data.

No third-party tracking
No external trackers, or cookies. Security is built into the product, by design.

Not just access control
Access control is not enough. With use, even if someone gets access to your encrypted files, they can't read them without the encryption keys.

Open source cryptography
Our cryptographic implementations are open source and can be audited by anyone. Transparency builds trust.

Do you really need to trust others?
Most storage providers claim to keep your data safe, but in reality, they have full access to your files and can share them with third parties.
- WeTransfer can use your dataBy using WeTransfer, you grant them a free license to use your files to "improve their services"
- Dependence on GAFAMMany third-party services rely on major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure). Some like to believe that hosting data in a European data center ensures digital sovereignty — but that’s pure illusion. These providers remain subject to U.S. laws, including the CLOUD Act.
- Weaker protection against hackersCentralized storage systems without end-to-end encryption are prime targets for cyberattacks.

Encryption at rest and in transit
Most platforms claims to use encryption, but they only encrypt data in transit and at rest on their servers. This means they can still read your files.
- Encryption in transitIt's just standard practice to use TLS to encrypt communication while it's being sent over the internet... Everyone uses it with HTTPS. Are you reassured now?
- Encryption at restFiles are encrypted on the server, but the provider has the keys to decrypt them. This means they can access your data whenever they want. Not very comforting, is it?
- Just check the factsEncryption without control is not privacy. Just look their pages about security and privacy policies... lots of words but no real guarantees.
